Assistants Information/SLP-A

ASHA Assistants Program

This year, supervisors can look forward to an audiology assistant scope of practice, revised speech-language pathology assistant scope of practice, professional development opportunities in supervision, enhanced supervision resources, and much more.

Earning the Certified Audiology Assistant (C-AA) or Certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (C-SLPA) credential is an opportunity for assistants to expand their career options and stand out among their peers. Applying to become a C-AA or C-SLPA is easy! Assistants just need to follow the step-by-step instructions, and they’ll be on their way to a new beginning.

Assistants can start the new year with a valuable investment in their career and join the ranks of assistants that have begun their journey to certification. Encourage your assistants to apply to become an ASHA-certified assistant today!

Thank you to everyone who has helped to make the first year of the program such an extraordinary success.
