“Advocating Under the ADA” will take place on Thursday, October 25th at the brand new, state of the art Visual Communications Center at the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford. Marc Anthony Gallucci, Esq. will present for teens and young adults with hearing loss how to advocate under the Americans with Disabilities Act featuring real life scenarios for college and in the workplace. Parents, friends, and professionals are welcome to attend as well. This is a free event that requires an RSVP to me at firstname.lastname@example.org by October 22nd. Both sign-language interpreters and captioning will be provided.

About the Speaker: Marc Anthony Gallucci is a disability rights advocate. He lost his hearing when he was two years old. Marc Anthony was mainstreamed in the Fairfield Public Schools, and used ASL as a second language. Since 1993, Marc Anthony has been the Chief Advocate and Director at Center for Disability Rights – a Center for Independent Living. He is passionate about the inclusion of people with disabilities.
